We're all conversant in influence. Lesser affects similar to hammering a nail, cracking an egg or stubbing a toe are a part of lifestyle. extra violent affects akin to these because of automobile crashes or bullets are thankfully much less universal yet are nonetheless good sufficient recognized to be taken without any consideration. Very violent affects comparable to meteorites remarkable the earth are outdoor our own adventure yet we're conscious of them.

Longitudinal velocity, Q (upper curve), and transverse velocity, C, (lower curve), in lithium borate glasses against molefraction,x, of L12O. The composition range of metastable immiscibility is denoted by solid curve to each of the longitudinal velocity and the transverse velocity. 07 Figure 9. Density, p, of cesium borate glasses plotted against mole fraction, x, of CS2O. The linear regression line is shown as a guide for the eye. 88 x (moie fraction of Cs20) Figure 10. It now becomes quite certain that R depends on medium-range glass structure of the hosts as well as the Pr3+ concentration. 05 mol% Pr3+ corresponds to ~1θ" cm"3, which is a relatively large concentration, changes of the glass structures would alter distribution of Pr3+ ions and R as well. Sakida Environmental Management and Safety Section, Health and Environment Center, Okayama University 3-1-1, Tsushima-Naka Okayama-shi 700-8530, Japan ABSTRACT The influence of molar volume, polarizability of oxide ion, and Ol s binding energy on the refractive index was investigated for the various binary tellurite glasses. In the combination with P2O5, B2O3, and AI2O3, the refractive index was linearly correlated to molar volume, polarizability, and Ols binding energy. In alkali tellurite systems, the refractive index was weakly related to molar volume and polarizability.
